Helping Keep Springhill Elementary Strong

Lafayette schools are full of extraordinary programs and teachers—but did you know

we’re one of the lowest-funded districts in California? Our school receives about

$5,000 less per student than it actually costs to provide the level of education we want

for our kids. That’s why LPIE (Lafayette Partners in Education) was created by

parents—just like you—to help close that gap and ensure all students have what they

need to thrive.

PFC vs. LPIE: Why You Should Support Both

The Springhill Parent Faculty Club and LPIE both play essential—but different—roles in

supporting our school.

🎉 What the PFC Supports at Springhill

The PFC focuses on building community and enriching the school experience through fun,

inclusive events and programs like our Rainbow Run, Ocean Week and the Fall Picnic. PFC events

bring families together and help make our school feel like a true community.

📚 What LPIE Supports at Springhill

LPIE funds what happens during the school day—the academic programs and staff that make our

public school education stronger, richer, and more complete. Classroom aides in every class, art,

science and music instruction, classroom supplies and much more are all supported by LPIE.

These are critical components of your child’s education that are not fully funded by the State of

California.

We hope you’ll support both the PFC and LPIE at Springhill.

PFC helps build our community. LPIE helps build your child’s education.

Your donation to LPIE directly supports teachers and students at Springhill. Every donation, at any

level, makes an impact.
